Tom is president of Thorne Financial Solutions and is a seasoned Financial Security Advisor serving his clients since 2006.
His passion is to help families and business owners protect their greatest assets – their earning potential, families, business and employees. With Tom’s formal education and practical life experiences he’s been able to craft a common sense approach to the industry that supports his client’s needs in unique ways. He offers these services based on the simple principle that knowledge for his clients is the single biggest tool he can provide.
Originally from Yorkshire, England, Tom’s global travels and experiences coupled with his significant local roots give him a blend of knowledge and skills that makes him ideal for business owners and locally rooted families. His personal demeanor is unassuming which makes working with him comfortable from the onset.
His own family life is very active with his four children 2 girls and 2 boys.
When not working he can be found outside or surrounded by his family. His favorite activities are skiing and snowboarding and he is very thankful that he likes winter(s). Of living in Canada, Tom says, “Canada is such a large and beautiful place and, while I do miss a few things from the UK, there are definitely many similarities between the two countries. I like that in Canada you can tell what time of year it is and what season you are in with temperatures ranging from -30°C to +30°C. After traveling around the world during my 20’s there isn’t another place I would consider calling home.”
